The forward question is simple but important: is Ethereum becoming more decentralized because more ETH is staked, or is Ethereum becoming easier for institutions to hold because fewer operational choices are required? Those are opposite implications wearing the same bullish headline. The next confirmation should not be another confidence sentence. It should be staking balance, validator distribution, withdrawal behavior, and Coinbase-specific inflow data. Until then, this is a plausible long-term institutionalization signal with too little evidence to price.
